Street Theater, an amazing art with even more amazing artists bringing their acts with passion and fire. All elements of street theater need to be to the point to bring the artist's new character to life. The total look needs to be very detailed because the audience is always nearby. So face, hands, feet, legs up to even a complete body need to be painted with a creation which the artists need to be able to play with and believe in. A lot of these artists take along their body- and face painter on their journeys for all their acts. In a lot of countries the artists' professional work even exists in cooperation of street theater acts.
This workshop grew from a lack of knowledge of body- and face painting techniques on one side and needs of the street theater artist on the other.
In this workshop, the street theater and bodypainter, learn more about each other's jobs and you will learn how to get closer to each other's specific needs to bring a fantastic character alive and create complete new ideas for the most original acts. As a street theater artist you learn how to perfect and/or create your makeup design for your newest act.
Next to the ultimate product knowledge and professional body/face paint techniques also specific techniques will be taught as f.i. creating pure golden/silver statues, marbling, (old) bronze as well as creating reptile looks and even a lot more as for your street theater act your body- and face painting need to come believably alive... it just needs to be REAL.
To register for this workshop especially for street theater and body painting artists working in this specific scene, no specific knowledge for body- and face painting is needed. It's for beginners as well as for more advanced painters.

- CREATE – paint with bodypaint 3D on 3D models on the computer; create people, objects, elves and other mythical creatures. Bodypaint 3D was used for many Hollywood figures in famous fantasy movies.
In the first part of the workshop, textures are created out of photos and connected with 3D models in order to get your own personal design work. - COMBINE – in the second part of the workshop you learn to combine real photos with 3D objects. People become integral parts of fantasy landscapes and are melted into one unit.
