World Bodypainting Festival 2009 presented by "Kryolan"

An unbelievable World Bodypainting Festival has come to an end. Even when the festival Saturday was stormed with cold weather we were still able to welcome artists from 40 nations to celebrate the art of bodypainting together.

I was able to again create the frame for the worlds largest and most spectacular bodypainting event with an unbelievable team.

The new World Champions were celebrated through a coreography of music dance and show together with 26 thousand visitors.Since the beginning of the festival we have been trying to establish the bodypainting artform throughout the world. We have been able create a lot of movement for which I am very proud.

Alex-B
This year we took a step further by placing the bodypainting art form on the professional television marcket. Straight after the festival a news play out was available over satelite via Eutelsat and till now we have had 6.800 minutes of international television presence. After this festival bodypainting will have had a positive image presented around the world. With the report on the final airtime hours due in the end of October we are expecting 1000 hours of television air time. I think this was always our combined goal, the goal of the whole bodypainting community.

Enjoy the review about the World Bodypainting Festival 2009. Thousands of photos have been placed online in the passed weeks and days that pressent a lovely overview of the festival week.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone again at the  World Bodypainting Festival 2010, from 12. - 18. July.
Best Wishes form Seeboden, see you soon,

Alex Barendregt
