Body Art Fashion Show - CONTEMPORARY NOMADS
"Contemporary Nomads" is the 3rd edition of the Body Art Fashion series by Karala B.
Karala B is the author of two books about body art.
The first "Bringing Bodypainting to Life" 2008, sold internationally and was the first book about body art to document the history of body art from its traditional roots to its extensive modern forms. Her send book "Body Art Fashion" 2011, has continued to go into the depths of modern body art and its combination with fashion and make up. Her books are available in our online shop.
Karala B's fashion shows are designed to explore the ways in which a human can express their emotion and character when all the rules of culture and society are relaxed. Her first show "Create your own Reality" in 2010 displayed the work of ten women artists from around the world and her second show "FARBKRIEGER" in 2011 grew in size and quality. The Body Art Fashion series has served to inspire many artists to develop their skills in design and expression and has offered a truly unique form of expression mixing body art with fashion, make up, performance and music with audiences of thousands.
The next edition of Body Art Fashion "Contemporary Nomads" is eagerly awaited by artists and models so that they can again push their limits to a higher level. The theme explores the idea that so many body painting artists have moved countries and homes for the passion that is their art. This is truly a family of artistic nomads held togther by the bonds of passion.
