With great socializing possibilities and inspiration it is the perfect backdrop for the body art form. The very compact town locates all programs within just a few hundred meters.

The music and show line up for "Body.Circus - the surreal ballroom" on July 4th within the World Bodypainting Festivals 2012 is now published and we produced the first posters and flyers. Early bird tickets are availble for € 15.
The World Bodypainting Festival is a creative spot for different kind of art. A great example is the London based DJ crew former known as the Force FM crew coming almost since a decade to the WBF. This year the group under the new name "the lost boyz" team up with another UK artist who does something very unique - he toasts ))
"Toast, a metaphor for the basic human need to eat and survive, also exists as a canvas on which to explore the spirituality that influences and affects our everyday lives", so Lennie Payne.
So while the audience is listing to the great sound of the lost boyz, artist Lennie Payne is creating a 3 x 3 m artwork on stage based on toast. See more
We are happy to welcome the german Skinpainter online magazine as another supporter for the WBF awards. Skinpainter is donating € 500 in cash for the WBF Show Award on the festival saturday. Find the details of all categories here
We are happy to welcome the new registered exhibitors like Mehron, Bad Ass Stencils and Senjo Color on the main days of the WBF from 6 - 8 July. The sales area with make up related products in Bodypaint City South is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm.
This year we offer within our festival program a photo workshop in a special location, in the "hotel12" on the montain Gerlitzen, on 1750 m sea level. Approxomitly 35 minutes away from Bodypaint City, this very unique hotel offers a festival package "Bodypainting & Art of Life". Why hotel12 ? 12 artists created 12 artworks for 12 rooms.
Vocal artist Fii will perform a cappella at the World Bodypainting Festival in this year. Fii has found his creative expression – the voice as musical instrument and showed that also on big TV shows such as X-Factor or the Supertalent. The vocal artist and his “LiVE LOOPiNG BEATBOX SHOW“ is acclaimed all over the world. Each and every performance is unique – an entertaining musical journey based on his voice amplified by a microphone and a loop station using no effects.

New at the WBF 2012 during the festival week from 2 - 5 July is the option for the WBF Academy Pass.
The Academy Pass contains a selected program for 4 days for only € 279.
You can simply choose your favorite classes for each day. (Please check availibility; the photo workshop classes with Ulf Scherling, Anton Klocker and Martin Rauchenwald are the only exclusion).
Please note that at this stage we give out only 8 more passes.
