The “Body Circus”, the fantasy ball within the historical walls of the castle
The fantasy ball ‘Body Circus’ will be back also in 2008 in the festival week. On July 16th the medieval castle “Burg Sommeregg” will transform into a mystical fairy tale location with guests arriving in costume ranging from Bodypainting, body decoration and masks, to extreme make-up and fantasy fashion. This year the special guest is bodypainting calligrapher Yukki Yaura from Japan who is famous for is illustrations for the film "The Pillow Book" (Peter Greenaway & Steven Spielberg). Costume prizes, percussion, Riga fashion show, the Art Color Ballet Poland and entertainmenttill the early morning hours are provided for visitors.

The ‘Body circus’ promises to be an evening of magic, pushing boundaries and letting imagination run free. Guests arriving not according to dress code will not be excepted.
7.00 pm: Styling Jam Session in the culture hall Seeboden, 1st floor. Get ready together with a group of people for the shrill fantasy ball BodyCircus ! It’s more fun and stylists will be available. (Depot for the make up case or clothes is available in the culture hall!) 9.00 pm: Free shuttle bus from the culture hall – castle.
