Roundtrip and adventure program 13 – 17 July 2008
within the
World Bodypainting Festival week


For all participants and visitors to the World Bodypainting Festival who are already in Seeboden before the main days and do not enter workshops or other programs we have put together an exciting range of roundtrips, hiking and biking adventure tours. The program has to be booked in advance ! The meeting place for any program is in front of the tourist information office in the center of Seeboden.


Sunday, 13th July 2008:

Bungy Jump Trip
(with bodypainting session)

You can join to watch or to jump from the 165m high dam.

The impressive surrounding of the mountains and the deep green lake at 2.000m sea level makes it very special.


Please register early! Meeting 10.00 am

Costs with the jump: € 135 incl. transfer
Costs without jump: € 25 incl. transfer
Biking tour with our mountainbike guide around the lake Millstätter See with a break at the healing swamp Egelsee. It’s also possible to have a swim in the very healthy red water. We go on to Döbriach, the other side of the lake and return with the bike ferry Peter Pan to Seeboden.
Tour App. 4 hours. Meeting time 1.00 p.m.
Minimum: 4 persons

Monday, 14th July 2008:
Half day round trip to the Malta-Hochalm-Straße and the Kölnbreinsperre – 18 km long panorama road up the mountains to Europe’s highest damm. Meeting time 1.00 p.m
Cost: € 21 per person incl. roadtoll

 

Tuesday, 15th July 2008:
Full day trip to Venice – the very famous italian city on the upper Adreatic sea is just a few hours from Seeboden. Built on an island and surrounded by more than 117 canals, Venice has lots of sight seeing spots like the San Marcus church, the Dogen palace, the Loggetta and the Piazza San Marco, Departure time 5.30 a.m. ! Cost: € 44 per person
Hiking tour to the Enzian-Granat-Steig (panoramic hiking path)at the Lammersdorfer Mountain with our hiking guide. Arrival with the mountain bus to the Hansbauer hut, hiking via the Millstätter Alps to the Enzian-Granat-Steig. Tour App. 3 – 4 hours. Next, guide through the Sennerei and Käserei (traditional cheese producing farm) with traditional Carinthian Frigga lunch at the Lammerdorfer hut. Meeting time 9.45 a.m. Minimum: 4 persons.
Transfer and guiding: €20 per person

 

Wednesday, 16th July 2008:
Full day trip to the Großglockner – Austrians highest mountain 3.798 meters high. Hiking to the glacier ‘Pasterze’ and a great traditional home made meal break in one of the mountain huts. Meeting time 8.50 a.m.
Transfer cost: € 33 per person.
Boat round trip on the lake Millstätter See – App. 2 ½ hours, Meeting time 11.00 a.m.
Cost: €12 per person

 

Thursday, 17th July 2008:
Halfday round trip to the Nockalm – Along a 35 km panoramic roud in the national park. It’s a fantastic possibility to relax or hike sourrounded by a picturesque mountain landscape. Meeting time 12.45
Transfer cost: € 20 per person
Hiking tour to the healing swamp, the Egelsee.Take a healing swim through natural red water.
App. 3 hours, with a boat trip back to Seeboden Meeting time 12.00 mid day, Boat ticket € 8
