Synopsis:
The aim of the workshop is to give all attendants the chance to see and try many different materials from the manufacturer "Smooth-On" and techniques.

On day one we will work together to create a b odycast and positive moulds.

On day two and three everyone will work on their own small pieces.
All pieces and moulds created in the workshop can be taken home after finishing.

Monday, 14 July:

Morning:
- Creating a simple body cast with Alginate and Plaster Bandages
(only front half of the body, approximately from the neck down to the hip)
- Creating two Plaster positive moulds (chest area, stomach area)
- Modelling mould bases with clay
- Creating two Silicone negative moulds and Resin support moulds


Afternoon:
- Creating two Resin positive moulds for chest and stomach

Tuesday, 15 July

Morning:
- Modelling “Armor” and “Sixpack”
- Practice: Attendants sculpt their own pieces

Afternoon:
- Creating the negative moulds
- Practice: Attendants pour their own moulds
- Opening and cleaning the moulds

Wednesday, 16. July

Morning:
- Preparing the moulds
- Information about different materials and techniques
- Creating Silicone Appliances “Armor” and “Sixpack”
- Practice: Attendants create their own Silicone pieces

Afternoon:
- Applying “Armor” and “Sixpack” to the model
- Information about adhesives, colours and techniques
- Practice: Applying and painting the pieces

• How to transform forms

• Varying types of composition
• Perspectives, Composing, Illusion of reality
• Implementation in your own work

Composition, construction, colour theory, perception and perspective are the alphabet and the most beautyful words in the artists language.

For example you cannot write a good poem in French if you do not know the alphabet and vocabulary. You can always try, there will certainly be people who find it funny and interesting. But if you have a talent for poetry you must first learn how to use the alphabet and language to magicly spin the words.

If you want to break rules to create something new you must first learn these rules. Unfortunately insparation does not always guide us.

Bella Volen will show you in a game of transformation how to bring art together.

2 day Bodypainting Airbrush Workshop presented by

2 day Airbrush Bodypainting Masterclass

Basic knowledge in airbrush is necessary.

Content:

Day 1:
- Explenaiton of different colours, their field of application and perfidies
- What do you have to be aware of with the bodypainting artform with
colour density, distance of view and contrasts between bright and dark
- Photos, logos and fonts on skin
- Production of multi-piece stencils for perfect results
- Practise on paper, Stone structure

Day 2:
- Practical work of the different tecniques on the model
- Motive planning
- Creating of a perfect illusion by using different tecniques
(Free hand or stencils with brush, sponge or airbrush)
- Wooden structure on the body

Please bring a model on the second day. Compressor and
airbrush will be supplied but you can bring your own
