Bodypainting Model of the Year Award
What would be the photo without the expression of the model.
Thats why each year we award the "Bodypainting Model of the Year".
The award goes to the model, that expresses and represents the bodypainting artwork the best. That includes the modeling on the main days, on stage as well as in the photo shooting area. This prize is awarded within the photo competition.
This year the award goes to:
"Zap Zap" from St. Petersburg / Russia

"Zap Zap" what she calles herself as a model, was almost always present at the World Bodypainting Festival 2011. The first side event she appeared was the Body Circus, where she first raised attention to resident visitors, photographers and artists. She modelled in variouse categories throughout the main days for Kristina Elizarova from Moskau and was performing for the photographers and the audience from early morning till the end of the day. Thousands of photos of here were produced and many sent to the photo awards.
We had some other very good models at the World Bodypainting Festival 2011. So we started awarding also the second and third prize, which goes to:
