The main days in the “Bodypaint City” for photographers presented by NIKON
|
With the evanescent art on the body, photography is an essential part of the festival. Especially for photographers we offer the “photo ticket” to get access to the restricted photo contest area (Photo Award Area). This area consists of different backgrounds and requisites. The tickets for photographers are strictly limited, early bookings are recommended.
All models come into this area when finishing and photographers can record their fantastic images here. Photo ticket holders also get access in front of the stage.

Details for the photo contest, the “World Bodypainting Photo Award” presented by NIKON
|
There are the two categories
- “Photo” and
- “Digital Art” to be judged.
After the festival ends, the best photos of the event will be judged by a jury and awarded prizes. There will be cash prizes and photo equipment to win. All works will be shown in a projection show the year later in the festival week. Some of the photos will be shown in the photo catalogue, which is sent for free to every participant.
Participants from 26 nations participated in this international photo contest last year and sent around 1000 photos to be judged. Out of a selection from the entries we produce the photo catalogue, which will be sent to all participants for free.

Digital Art: In this category photos are changed in their originality. The digital art category has no boundaries but the bodypainting art or the festival should still be the main content.
New:To participate in the photo competition you only have to send us the digital data of the photos on a CDrom. The participants will save the money from producing the print outs and posting them to us. Please find the details about the procedure in the rules below.
