The World Bodypainting Festival starts in only 2 weeks. From Monday, 13th of July the first workshop classes and lectures will be organized within the WBF Academy. Many side events and the ball of the body and facepainters, the BodyCircus are on schedule before the festival main days with the World Awards from 17 - 19 July. The program also offers a lot of entertainment for visitors with music, shows and exhibitions to attend.

The registration process for artists for the World Bodypainting Festival is slowly coming to the end. We are very proud to be able to welcome again artists from all around the world. Bodypainters from nearly 40 nations have been registerd.

Information for bodypainting artists: The registrations for 2 categories are now closed. 15 artists will participate in the World Award category UV, the night contest for fluoroszent effects. 

The Amateur Award is also full with artists from many countries.  The official closing date for other categories is July, 4th but only if space is available.

Within the WBF Academy we offer a sensational UV workshop class including 3D effects The German WBF Academy teacher  Wolf Reicherter has perfected UV bodypainting and over the 2 day workshop he shows all the tricks.

There are a few places available for the 2 days on the 15th and 16th in July.

The photo ticket allowes photographers to enter restricted sections with photo opportunities and allowes also to take part in the photo contest, the  "World Bodypainting PHOTO Award" 2009.

If you are photo interested, you can still find possiblities to shot some great images in the audience area. Therefor you need a simple days ticket. 
For photographers we still have places left in the 2 WBF Academy programs: free NIKON "RAW Power" lecture, as well as the milano photo shooting demo. .

Program Overview:

Today we can finally announce a  very special music highlight at the festival 2009. The german electro pop star and actress Jeanette Biederman will fill the festivals Saturday evening program with her music performance. The bodypainting art form is an essential part in her  new album "Undress to the beat".
